Built for Saco's Commercial Corridor
Saco's Route 1 corridor continues to see new commercial and retail development, often requiring demolition of an older structure first. Saco's historic mill district has also seen major redevelopment in recent years, reflecting a broader pattern of older industrial and commercial buildings being cleared or repurposed.
The Krispy Kreme project required removing multi-layer CMU block and brick — Briggs Contracting has the equipment and experience for structural commercial demolition, not just wood-frame residential work. Saco has its own building and zoning approval process, and Briggs Contracting acquires the necessary permits on every job.
Why Saco Property & Business Owners Choose Briggs Contracting
Briggs Contracting was founded in 2008, with landscaping and hardscape roots plus a decade-plus of demolition experience. Owner Chaz Briggs managed large-scale demolition in Houston after Hurricane Harvey before bringing that experience home to Maine.
