Built for South Portland's Working Waterfront
South Portland is home to a major industrial working waterfront, and the city's neighborhoods, from Ferry Village to the Redbank and Brick Hill area, have gone through real redevelopment over the past two decades, turning formerly neglected land into mixed-use and residential neighborhoods. That pattern is continuing, with additional waterfront and mall-area land identified for future housing.
Demolition tied to this kind of redevelopment, whether clearing an older industrial or commercial structure or preparing a residential lot, calls for a crew that understands both sides of the work. South Portland has its own building and zoning approval process, and Briggs Contracting acquires the necessary permits on every job.
